A Prayer for the Absent

In Morocco, during the resistance and struggle for independence in the 1950s, Mokhtar, a cultured young man from a middle-class family in Fez, is the unwitting cause of Yamna's downfall, and she must pay a high price to regain her dignity and freedom.
