Mermaid

I have been working closely with a taxidermy fish for several months, making replica soft sculptures of it and thinking about the culture and attitudes surrounding the strange thing that is a taxidermy fish. I decided to do a performance with the object and the only way I could was to be a mermaid, with a lingering fisherman.
