Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21, 1956) is a British-Canadian actress, renowned for her diverse acting career in film, stage, and television. She started her career early, signing a film deal with Otto Preminger before graduating high school in 1972. While famous as Samantha Jones in "Sex and the City," she boasts classical training from LAMDA and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Her stage credits include Broadway, alongside Sir Ian McKellen, and in David Mamet's praised play 'The Cryptogram.'
