Jacopo Spano'

Biography

Jacopo Spanò, born on 20/12/2006, grew up in Chiavari in the province of Genoa, now lives in Rome. Jacopo’s cinema is based on pretentious works that, however, through different experiments of films and screenplays creates and tells stories of pure entertainment without forgetting to mention the great cinema of the past taking as main references the cinema of Antonioni, Truffaut, Godard, Caligari, Melville, Bunuel and Wong Kar Wai. In 2021 he tried to found the 06GENERAZIONE movement, without making it persist, with which he produced "Nowhere Man". In 2022 he founded GCC (Green Cinema Collective), a Ligurian collective still active. In 2023 to produce "The man who photographed the most beautiful woman in the world" helps in the foundation of Dziga Vertov. Collective that acts as a network of contact and assistance between different authors and young people from all over Italy. Now Jacopo is working on his next film "L'uomo più odiato del mondo", screened at the CINEMA TROISI in Rome. In 2025, he is working on several film sets as in LSPG, Gaumount Italia and his latest short was produced by Fosforo (post-production).
